At Hope we believe God has called us to actively spread God’s word and love to make a positive difference within our church body, locally in our community and throughout the world. In Acts 1:8 the Lord commands “you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Each quarter we will be supporting a different area of missions. This includes local church missions, local community missions & world missions.
HOPE MISSIONS
We believe in supporting and encouraging our local church body here at Hope. Because of the great need to see our young people grounded in their faith, and the ongoing need and shortage of pastors, we would like to encourage our youth to attend Bible School, and assist them financially to be able to do so. We also want to assist and encourage any young man from our congregation who feels the Lord leading him to become a pastor, by financially supporting him as well. Read More.

WORLD MISSIONS
We support four world missionaries through our Association of Free Lutheran Congregations. It is through your support that they can bring the gospel of Christ across the world! Read More.

LOCAL MISSIONS
There are many people right outside our walls that are in need and we believe in supporting our local community here in the U.P. We have our own food pantry here at Hope. We also support Feeding America and the local care clinic to help young mothers and families. Read More.

HANDS & FEET
There is a huge need within our community to serve and help others with our service. We desire to serve as a church body to help, encourage others and shine the light of Jesus beyond our church walls. We desire to use our individual and collective gifts to “be the hands and feet of Jesus” to those in our area, meeting physical needs and building relationships with those around us! Read More.
