Pastor Steve Jensen

Senior Pastor

Reverend Steven Jensen was born in Loveland, CO.  He met his wife Brandi, at the Free Lutheran Bible Collage in Plymouth, MN.  They have 9 children. Steve started his Christian life at 18, but tried to please God by being a “good Christian.”  While he believed in Christ alone, his value was determined by his performance.  Steve found himself in a state of sever depression and despair.  Steve then tried to take his own life, but God had other plans.  Jesus called Steve to seminary following this life changing event.  After graduating from the Association Free Lutheran Theological Seminary, Steve received a call to St. John Evangelical Free Lutheran Congregation at Schwer in Milford, IL.  Hope Free Lutheran Church in Ishpeming is Steve’s 2nd call.  Ask him about God’s miraculous Grace, he loves to talk about what Christ has done!
